Policy.
We sell privacy hardware. It would be absurd to run a surveillance operation behind it — so we don't. This page explains exactly what we collect and why.
- No advertising trackers. No Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no third-party ad scripts.
- No account required. You can order as a guest.
- We never sell, rent or share your data for marketing.
- Card details never reach our servers — Stripe handles payment directly.
- Order data is deleted after 6 years, the minimum HMRC requires us to keep it.
Who We Are
EncPix is the data controller for information collected through this site. We are based in the United Kingdom and process personal data under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What We Collect
Only what is genuinely needed to sell and ship you a phone.

| Payment confirmation | Stripe confirms payment succeeded. We never see your card number. |
We do not ask for your date of birth, phone number, gender, or any marketing preferences. If a field is not needed to ship your order, it is not on the form.
Why We Are Allowed To
Contract. We process your name, address and email because we cannot fulfil your order without them.
Legal obligation. We retain order and transaction records for six years because HMRC requires it.
Legitimate interests. We keep a limited record of support correspondence so we can handle warranty claims and disputes.
Who Sees Your Data
Three processors, each doing one necessary job:
| Stripe | Payment processing. Receives your card and billing details directly — we never hold them. |
| Royal Mail | Delivery. Receives your name and delivery address only. |
| Vercel | Website hosting. Processes standard server logs including IP addresses. |
We may disclose data where legally compelled to do so by a valid court order. We will tell you if this happens unless legally prohibited from doing so.
We have never sold data and never will.
Cookies & Tracking
We run no advertising or analytics trackers. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, and no third-party advertising script on this site. That is why you have not seen a cookie banner.
Your basket is stored in your browser's local storage so it survives a page refresh. It stays on your device and is never transmitted to us until you check out. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Stripe sets cookies necessary for fraud prevention during checkout. These are strictly necessary for the payment to work.
How Long We Keep It
Order records: six years from the end of the tax year, as HMRC requires. Then deleted.
Support emails: deleted once your enquiry is resolved and any warranty window has passed.
Server logs: retained by our host for a short period for security and diagnostics.
Your Rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:
- Give you a copy of the data we hold about you
- Correct anything inaccurate
- Delete your data, where we are not legally required to keep it
- Restrict or object to how we process it
- Provide your data in a portable format
Email hello@encpix.com and we will respond within one month, free of charge. If you are unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
If we make material changes we will update this page and change the date below.
